Thankfully we’re not having a Superbowl party tomorrow. As it is I have to tune out my husband’s cheering and jeering – to put it politely – during games. Then again, I could just go to a movie…
Just the same, I guess he’ll want something to eat for the occasion so I’m shuffling through my recipes & ideas binders for something I can make without having to hit the grocery store. I’m thinking a taco salad or enchiladas, but we’ll see what he’s in the mood for.
Either way, I’ll be wrapping up the food early so I can stay out of earshot of the TV room. I learned long ago not to even walk in there during football games – it’s just not worth the possibility of being caught off guard when the favored team blows a down (is that what you call it?).
For those entertaining a crew, best of luck… I recommend you listen to some soothing music via a portable player while fixing up the feast.
